Waste Management Specialist & Project Manager - World Bank-Financed Project
๐ Location: Siem Reap, Kampong Speu, and Kandal, Cambodia
๐ผ Contract: Project-based
A leading consultancy is seeking a Waste Management Specialist & Project Manager for a World Bank-financed project focused on the detailed design and construction supervision of landfill and waste treatment infrastructure in Cambodia.
Key Responsibilities:
โ Oversee environmental infrastructure construction, specifically sanitary landfills
โ Manage remediation of closed dumpsites and waste treatment projects
โ Ensure compliance with international Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards
โ Collaborate with multilateral development banks and local stakeholders
โ Provide strategic project planning and execution oversight
Requirements:
โ 10+ years of international experience in waste management and environmental infrastructure
โ 5+ years of project management experience in sanitary landfill construction and remediation
โ Expertise in OHS regulations and environmental compliance
โ Prior experience in Southeast Asia and working with multilateral development banks preferred
