Civil Works Construction Engineer - World Bank-Financed Project
๐ Location: Siem Reap, Kampong Speu, and Kandal, Cambodia
๐ผ Contract: Project-based - 16 months
A leading consultancy is seeking a Civil Works Construction Engineer for a World Bank-financed project focused on the detailed design and construction supervision of landfill and waste treatment infrastructure in Cambodia.
Key Responsibilities:
โ Oversee the construction and supervision of civil works for environmental infrastructure and sanitary landfills
โ Manage multiple construction sites, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
โ Ensure compliance with FIDIC rules, Cambodian legislation, and World Bank Standards
โ Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and development banks to ensure project success
โ Implement and monitor adherence to relevant construction guidelines and procedures
Requirements:
โ 15+ years of experience in construction and civil works
โ 10+ years of experience in environmental infrastructure/sanitary landfill construction
โ Strong international project management and supervision background
โ Ability to alternate between multiple construction sites as needed
โ In-depth knowledge of FIDIC rules, Cambodian legislation, and World Bank policies
