Senior Consultant - Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer

Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading consultancy, providing independent advice on environmental issues to the public and private sectors.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Consultant - Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer to undertake various projects and work on complex and multidisciplinary assignments.
The successful candidate will perform line management duties, mentor junior members of the team and contribute to operational aspects of the department.
You'll need to hold a BSc, BEng, MSc, MSci or MEng in a Geology, Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering related discipline. With extensive experience of supervising a range of practical and field works, you'll be confident overseeing technical work prepared by colleagues. Computer literate, you'll have a good working knowledge of geotechnical slope assessment models such as SlopeW and have experience in the use of CAD and three-dimensional digital terrain models such as LSS. With strong project management skills, you'll have experience of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts. An excellent communicator, you'll be a strong team player with first-rate interpersonal and organisational skills.
You will require a full, clean UK driving licence for this role.
Fellowship of the Geological Society or Graduate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers Chartership would be advantageous to this role.
