Do you work in the world of innovative Building Consultancy?
This is your chance to work for an organisation that has emerged as a catalyst for change, committed to reshaping perceptions of energy efficiency, sustainability, and inhabitant comfort. We're on the lookout for a visionary individual to join them on this transformative journey as a Senior Building Physics Consultant.
In this role you will lead on a number of key building physics projects, from conception to completion, ensuring the delivery of enduring, high-quality services. You will guide clients through the maze of building performance strategies, utilising your expertise in energy modelling, thermal analysis, daylight exploration, and indoor air quality assessments to illuminate paths toward sustainable solutions.
As Senior Building Physics Consultant you will be familiar working with building performance simulations, as well as IES (Integrated Environmental Solutions) software to optimise the performance of the structures for clients.
As a collaborator, you will work hand in hand with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to craft sustainable building designs seamlessly that are woven into the fabric of the environment.
You will be expected to keep up to date amidst the evolving landscape, keeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends, embracing best practices, and harnessing emerging technologies as the industry continues to develop.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Building Physics, Environmental Engineering, or Sustainability. You will have a proven track record as a Building Physics Consultant, with a focus on energy modelling and simulation.
Ideally you will possess a deep understanding of building physics principles, conducting thermal comfort analyses and seamlessly weaving sustainable design strategies into building designs. You will be well-versed in UK building regulations and sustainability standards such as BREEAM, LEED and WELL and if you are an accredited professional (AP) for either of these it will be beneficial.
In recognition of your dedication and expertise, you will be offered a competitive salary and package depending on industry knowledge and experience.
