Principal/Associate Director Flood Risk and Drainage

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Flood Risk and Drainage Principal or Associate Director to join a leading environmental consultancy. Based in either London or Bristol, with hybrid working options available, this role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to take on complex strategic projects and lead a team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies, strong knowledge of SuDS design, and expertise in UK planning policies related to flood risk.
The role involves leading on large-scale projects within the property, renewable energy, and aviation sectors. Responsibilities include engaging with clients to communicate flood risk and drainage constraints, designing sustainable drainage schemes, and integrating flood mitigation strategies into masterplans. As a senior team member, you will provide mentorship and support to junior consultants while contributing to business development activities.
