Environmental Due Diligence Consultant

Job description

Environmental Due Diligence Consultant
Location: London
Working Arrangements: Hybrid & Flexible
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) Consultant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role offers exposure to a wide range of environmental assessments across the UK property sector, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

As part of the EDD team, you will be responsible for collecting and analysing environmental data, conducting desk studies, and assessing environmental risks. Your work will include reviewing historical mapping, regulatory databases, and local authority information to support environmental due diligence reporting. You will also participate in on-site audits across a variety of property types, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of findings. With guidance, you will take on project leadership elements, engaging with clients and subcontractors to support high-quality environmental assessments.

Candidates should hold a relevant bachelor's degree (or higher) and have a strong understanding of environmental assessments and key legislation. Excellent written and spoken English, strong attention to detail, and advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills are essential. Confidence in liaising with clients and site managers, as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines, will be key to success in this role. A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK are required, while a master's degree and foreign language skills would be advantageous.

The company offers a supportive working environment, hybrid flexibility, and a comprehensive benefits package, including private healthcare, a wellbeing allowance, professional membership subscriptions, and a competitive pension scheme.
