Principal Environmental Consultant
London UK (Hybrid Working)
We are looking for a Principal Environmental Consultant who is experienced in project managing Environmental and Social Impact Assessments. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the resources industry (mining sector, oil and gas and renewables). Are you able to project manage and administrate multi-disciplinary environmental projects and compile proposals on international projects? If this sounds like you, read on!
The role
You will be expected to:
Efficiently managing a variety of Projects, including resource allocation, workload forecasting and budgets.
ESIA's in line with relevant legislation and successfully managing the environmental and social legislative processes relevant to the country of work.
Advanced ESIA and ESMP report writing.
Based in London, with national and international travel opportunities.
Environmental Permitting, Mining Rights Applications
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have ten or more years' experience in a similar role within the resources/infrastructure industry, a post graduate degree in Environmental Management or Similar. A Project management certificate would be beneficial with the willing to travel locally and internationally, including Africa.
Additional experience:
Professional registration beneficial (e.g. EAPASA)
Experience/understanding of Africa.
A valid driver's license.
