Allen & York are excited to be working with a forward-thinking organisation, specialising in providing data-driven research, consultancy, technology products and training services to companies investing in, and navigating through, the energy transition.
Our client is looking for a commercially astute Power Market Software Analyst to join the short-term energy markets practice. This is an exciting opportunity to code on market-leading software and become an expert in GB and European power markets.
You'll hold a relevant BSc, MSc, PhD qualification alongside solid experience in relevant aspects of the energy sector, such as working with energy companies, technology manufacturers, policy makers, 'start-ups' or industry associations. With a robust background in working with data and calculations, you'll have solid coding knowledge in C#, Python or another similar language. An excellent communicator, you'll have an appetite for problem-solving, turning real-world challenges into impactful tools. You'll enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues across various disciplines and developing relationships with industry contacts and clients.
