Our client is one of the UKs leaders in its field and continues to grow from strength to strength. Part of a global organisation the company is a leading industrial manufacturer supplying a diverse range of customers, large and bespoke.
This is a fabulous opportunity to work on their site in the North West near Warrington to act as the sole Health & Safety professional based on site. The role will report to the General Manager with a dotted line to the UK Head of Safety and will manage the Health and Safety across the site ensuring compliance with legislation.
The role will require a good communicator able to liaise with management and shop floor workers able to provide advice and support as required working to the targets and objectives as agreed with management as well as the overall safety plan for the company.
Candidates should be able to build strong working relationships with people and will have a pragmatic attitude, able to determine action over escalation in any given situation. Candidates should have at least 2 years' experience of working in a dedicated Health & Safety role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment and have a minimum of a NEBOSH Certificate.
