Geo-Environmental Consultant
Location: East England (Home-Based with UK Travel)
Salary: Competitive - dependant on expereince
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geo-Environmental Consultant to join a leading environmental consultancy. This role involves delivering high-quality geo-environmental and risk reduction services across a variety of land quality projects, including transactions, development, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing site investigations, environmental risk assessments, and remediation projects
- Conducting soil logging, field and laboratory data analysis, and reporting
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success
- Providing environmental permitting advice and risk assessments for operational sites
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices
Requirements:
- A degree in Earth Sciences, Geo-Environmental, or a related field
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in contaminated land surveys and site investigations
- Strong knowledge of remediation technologies, geotechnical risk assessment, and environmental legislation
- Excellent report-writing and project management skills
