Ecologist

Allen & York are thrilled to be working with a leading ecological consultancy based in Hampshire. The team of highly experienced ecologists work on a range of exciting projects across the UK spanning housing, public sector and infrastructure developments.
Our client is looking for a passionate Ecologist to manage projects, prepare reports, undertake surveys and work with senior staff on larger and more complex projects.
You'll need to hold a degree in a relevant subject and have membership to CIEEM. With solid experience of working in an ecological consultancy, you'll hold at least one Natural England protected species class licence or be progressing towards this. With the ability to demonstrate your experience of ecological project management and ecological survey and assessment techniques, you'll have knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation, policy and guidance. An excellent communicator, you'll have great interpersonal skills and be a strong team player.
You will require a full UK driving licence for this role.
